Had a great trip and limited out quickly with solid fish. After that, we even had the option to head in or keep fishing, which was a nice bonus. The guide gave us the flexibility to use bait, lures, or a mix of both, exactly what we were hoping for. The boat’s open layout made it easy to move around and stay on big fish.

10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was our second trip out with Joe, and it absolutely delivered again. We booked it to celebrate my son’s birthday, and it turned out to be exactly what he wanted. Everything from start to finish made it a memorable day for him. Big thanks to Joe for making the trip so enjoyable and for helping create a birthday he won’t forget. We’ll definitely be back!

Took my family out for their first fishing charter and it turned out to be a great experience. Captain Jose was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and made everyone feel comfortable right away. We landed our first three redfish within the first 45 minutes, which set the tone for the trip. Highly recommend booking with Jose.

My wife and two boys were new to fishing, but Joe made it an enjoyable experience for all of us. He was patient, easy to be around, and kept things fun the whole trip. We also took his dinner recommendation afterward, and it turned out to be a great spot.

Took my dad out with my sons and had a great day on the water. Jose had us fish the traditional way, no trolling, which made the experience more hands-on and rewarding. We ended up just one fish short of the limit due to a storm rolling in, and with about an hour left, we’re confident we would’ve closed it out. We decided to head in early to stay safe and avoid getting caught in the rain. My dad hadn’t picked up a rod in a while, but he quickly got back into it and had a blast battling a big redfish, even earning himself a blister. My 10-year-old was on fire the whole trip, and it made the day even more special for all of us. Jose is knowledgeable, hardworking, and clearly passionate about what he does. It shows in how he runs his trips and takes care of his guests. We’ll definitely be booking a couple more trips with him before he transitions into law enforcement. Wishing him all the best in his next chapter. Thanks again for giving my dad such a memorable experience.

It took us a bit to get started, but once we did, we filled the live well with big, beautiful Blue catfish. The Captain was friendly and very professional. We will definitely be coming back.

Joe Solis is a fantastic guide. He put us on fish within 30 minutes of boarding the boat. We hit our limit with about an hour or so left on our trip. Great guide, great day at the lake!

Trip was great, limited out on reds then got on catfish. Captain was super cool laid back guy willing to answer questions and very patient to more experienced and newer fisherman. Plan to go back in a few weeks. Definitely the best was to fish in San Antonio. 10/10 boat t& experience.

It was easy to book with Joe and to locate the meeting point. Joe was friendly and professional. He was informative of the area, the fish we were after, and provided helpful tips to help with our trip. We attended with our 11 y/o daughter. He was patient and encouraging of her fishing skills. We had a time, caught a good number of fish, and Joe did a good job cleaning them for us at the end. We will definitely book with Joe again!

My son and I had a great time today. We were extremely fortunate to have found Mr. Solis who turned out to be perfect person to take us out. He was very patient and informative as we aren’t very experienced in the fishing department. He knew exactly where to go, for how long, and when to move on. We caught some red drums, channel catfish, and blue catfish. Upon completion of fishing, Mr. Solis cleaned and filleted all of the fish we caught. I would highly recommend Mr. Solis as I know we intend on booking him again in the near future.

We encountered Jose at the dock bright and early, and he was already prepared for our excursion. He greeted us warmly and outlined his strategy for the day. We began by trolling, though our catches were modest. Transitioning to bottom fishing near the dam, our luck improved, yielding more success. Throughout our journey, we experienced a mix of weather, from sunshine to rain and even hail. As storm clouds gathered, we made the prudent decision to return home upon hearing thunder. Despite the varied conditions, it was an enjoyable trip, and I look forward to booking with Jose again on my next visit!
